Melissa and Luke’s wedding day was perfect from start to finish. Melissa was stunning (flashback to Old Hollywood Glamour) and you could see the excitement in Luke’s eye’s when he saw her for the first time. I loved their ceremony in Downtown Portsmouth NH at South Church. Luke’s sister put her own twist on a reading they had chosen and Melissa’s reaction was priceless. It was such a great moment and I loved capturing the reaction from the guests as well as Melissa & Luke’s ear to ear smiles. What fun! After the ceremony we headed up the road to take some fun shots crossing the streets of Portsmouth. Much to our surprise as we rounded the corner there was a old time bike parade with 100+ bicyclists riding through the streets. They stopped to watch us take some pictures and even jumped in a few and let us borrow a bike:)
Off we went to Gigi’s at York Beach in Maine. Friends of Melissa & Luke’s own Gigi’s and were kind enough to offer it for their wedding venue. It is a hip and modern Italian restaurant in the heart of Short Sands serving amazing food. Guests dined and relaxed overlooking York Beach and taking int he fresh salt air. We had a chance to head out to the beach for more photos of Melissa & Luke. The sky was amazingly blue that day!
