Black Point Inn | Scarborough, Maine
There’s something so timeless about a fall wedding on the Maine coast. Ally & Justin’s wedding day at the beautiful Black Point Inn had it all. The ocean stretched out before us, sunlight danced off the waves, and a gentle breeze carried leaves through the air.
Ally looked effortlessly gorgeous in her gown, adorned with a bow that perfectly matched the sweet detail on her shoes. Her bridesmaids wore beautiful navy dresses in different styles, and the men were in classic black tuxes.
Their first look took place along the path leading to the ocean — a quiet, meaningful moment before the celebration began. It was especially important to make it down to the beach, with Ally’s family summer home in the distance. Watching them walk hand in hand along the shore, taking it all in, was a perfect moment.
The reception tables were lined with lush autumn blooms — mauve and green hydrangeas, garden roses in burnt orange, peach, and pink, with pops of blue delphinium. Romantic pillar candles glowed softly down the center of the long tables.
One of my favorite moments came during Ally and her dad’s dance to “I’ve Had the Time of My Life.” Everyone thought the classic lift might actually happen, and the laughter that followed was pure joy.
We caught the sunset just in time, the sky melting into shades of gold and rose over the ocean. A final walk on the beach gave us some of the most beautiful images of the day. The night ended with everyone on the dance floor, soaking up every last bit of joy.
What an incredible way to close out my wedding season with Ally & Austin, a stunning coastal backdrop, and a day filled with laughter, love, and all the magic that makes Maine weddings so special.
