Emily & Gray’s riverfront wedding at Breakwater Inn in Kennebunkport, Maine was a day full of color and heart. Elegant florals, bright colors, and countless thoughtful details filled their day, all set against the charm of coastal Maine.
Emily and Gray were surrounded by a large wedding party made up of their closest friends whom traveled from all over to celebrate with them. With both families coming up from Texas, it felt like the perfect coastal destination wedding. The bridesmaids brought the color palette to life in shades of pink, coral, and peach, some wearing delicate floral patterns that tied beautifully into the summer setting. The groomsmen complemented them perfectly in summer tan suits with sage green ties; perfectly capturing laid-back coastal sophistication.
Before the ceremony, Emily and Gray shared private vows. It was such personal and grounding moment before stepping into the joy of the day. The ceremony itself, with a stunning floral display along the river, was filled with so much love.
Cocktail hour was unforgettable. Guests were greeted with bright signature drinks and the most amazing array of passed hors d’oeuvres, a raw oyster bar, grilled lobster rolls, and live music as everyone enjoyed the river views.
Under the tent, every detail felt alive with color. Hanging pendant lights and greenery set the scene, while the entrance, adorned with peonies and summer blooms, welcomed guests into the celebration. Gorgeous patterned linens and custom monogrammed napkins set the tone for a celebration that felt both luxurious and deeply personal. Shades of pink, peach, coral, cranberry, yellow, bright green, and cream filled the reception, perfectly matching the energy of the night.
