Jessica & Jacob | Clay Hill Farm Wedding – Cape Neddick, Maine
I seriously loved everything about Jessica & Jacob’s gorgeous Clay Hill Farm wedding in Cape Neddick, Maine. Not only is this amazing couple super sweet, but they have incredible taste! Jessica chose the perfect dress with intricate lace & beading and I loved the shear back & sleeves. Jessica felt Clay Hill Farm had a vintage type feeling wanted to keep with that theme. She started collecting antique silver pieces at thrift shops, flea markets, antique stores, yard sales and it all came together so beautifully. She found old silver forks with beautiful details and used them as easels to hold engagement photos for table numbers. Jessica also collected broaches as well and had enough to use some of them as favors alternating with cookies from Hippie Chick Bakery. Their florist Jenn Fargo from Katherine’s Garden understood Jessica & Jake’s vision and it could not have been more perfect!
Some fun facts about Jessica & Jake
How did Jake propose?
Jake proposed in Kittery, Maine. It was after dinner outside of Tulsi and I kind of knew it was going to happen that night. We laugh about this now but I’m not sure if it was the Indian food or a virus but when we got home both of us got really sick and we were out of work for three days.
Why did you choose your Maine wedding venue? What was it about Clay Hill Farm that you loved.
Not only was Clay Hill Farm beautiful, cozy and intimate in it’s setting but the service and what they offer is wonderful. The coordinators Rachel and Jen were with us every step of the way and they really go above and beyond to make sure you are getting the wedding of your dreams and making your guests feel really special.
Why is Maine special to you?
Jake and I had one of our first dates in Maine and almost every weekend in the summer we go to our favorite beach at Drakes Island. We appreciate the beauty (and beer) that Maine has to offer.
What was your favorite part about your wedding day?
Marrying my best friend. At the end of the day we felt very blessed and grateful to share this special day with our closest family and friends.
Thank you to all the amazing Maine wedding vendors who helped make this day so special
