Hallie & Emily’s Engagement Photos
Portsmouth Engagement Photographer: I meet the most amazing people in the wedding industry everyday and these two are no exception. I was fortunate enough for Emily & Hallie to reach out to me for their same sex engagement photos in downtown Portsmouth, NH. Another lucky soul will be there to capture their wedding in Wisconsin this year. Although I wish it were me, I was so happy to be apart of their love story and capture some beautiful engagement photos for them.
I’m pretty sure we scheduled this engagement session on the coldest day of the year which made it both difficult but also extremely intimate. Hallie & Emily really had to snuggle in close to get any form of body heat from each other. And they kissed a ton just to take their minds off of the cold! There were lots of laughs for sure as it got to the point when we couldn’t feel our hands or when my speech was slurred because my face and lips were frozen! It certainly made for an experience I will not forget and some pretty exceptional engagement photos.
Hallie & Emily brought along a bottle of champagne for a toast and these are among my favorites from the session. The look of pure joy as they popped the cork and the champagne started to flow from the top of the bottle creating a magical moment. I adore these two and so honored to capture their love story.
