Stage Neck Inn Wedding Photos: What a truly magical day with these two beautiful souls. I couldn’t be more honored that Karen & Ed chose me to be a special part of their celebration, and create some amazingly gorgeous art for them. When Karen and I first chatted she explained that her & Ed have been together for 20 years. Now just feels right, and she knew she wanted to focus on photos that would be displayed in frames around their home. She wasn’t interested in photos of her wedding dress and shoes, or getting ready pictures. She wanted to really capture their love story.

Karen & Ed were also relaxed about the list of family formals they wanted me to capture. This list include 6 combinations/pictures total. As a wedding photographer this just seemed too good to be true. I typically have a short window of time to accomplish a huge list of family photos. We were able to have a stress free hour for portraits of just the two of them around the stunning property at Stage Neck Inn. I highly suggest to always make time for this.

The most special part of the day was hearing Karen & Ed speak their hand written vows. 20 year is a long time to get to know one another, and they balance each other out perfectly. I really felt like I knew their hearts after hearing them speak about one another. Such a truly special love, and they seemed to have perfected it. It’s usually the father daughter dance that gets me at every wedding, but this time it was hearing the amazingly strong emotions of Ed that got me completely chocked up. There is nothing better than a few tears and perhaps a slight sob from behind the camera. They seriously melted my heart.

Karen & Ed were an absolute dream to photograph. I must say I had a very hard time narrowing down my favorites for this post. There are so many beautiful shots in an incredibly picture perfect setting. Thank you again to Karen & Ed for trusting me with your most special memories. XO
