I have to start by saying Sara & Luke are a wedding photographers dream! So laid back and fun and were not going to let a horrible weather forecast ruin their wedding day. I have to say it was a little scary…torrential downpours & thunder and lightning that echoed through your entire body. There were rumors First Parish Congregational church had been hit by lightning and Sara’s response: “Well I guess it can’t get much worse!” She was focused on the meaning of this day and the incredible man she was going to spend the rest of her life with.
I was convinced we would not get a single shot outdoors all day and then suddenly the sky started to brighten in the distance and the rain slowed to a light drizzle. Sara & Luke were thrilled they would get have their first look outdoors. Not only first look photos but ALL photos were taken outdoors with a rain forecast that predicted 90% chance of showers all day long. Now that is some good luck.
Sara & Luke were married at First Parish in York and then off to York Golf & Tennis Club for dinner & dancing. Sara & Luke, it was such an amazing honor to be a part of your wedding day!! I wish you all the best and have a fabulous honeymoon!! XO
