York Golf & Tennis Club Wedding Photography: Another gorgeous wedding day and couple! I say it all the time, but I really am the luckiest girl. I get to celebrate almost every weekend with an amazing couple and their family & friends. I was so excited to spend the day with Lucy & Rich and they could not have asked for more perfect weather. Blue skies, a nice breeze, and low humidity on the very last day of July is rare.
I was fortunate enough to meet Lucy & Richard’s family and friends at their rehearsal dinner at Pepperrell Cove in Kittery, Maine on Friday night. I already felt like I was part of the family when I stepped into Lucy’s parents’ gorgeous home in York Harbor overlooking the ocean. Seriously, this is the most perfect setting for a wedding ceremony!!! How lucky are they to call this place home!
I absolutely loved Lucy & her bridesmaids getting ready dresses that Lucy’s Sister-in-law Julia found and little Lane’s (Lucy’s niece) romper that matched. How cute for wedding photos! Rather than one first look Lucy decided to do 3 first looks with her brothers, father & then finally Richard.
Lucy’s cousin John performed the most beautiful ceremony and guests and friends were wowed by the views. After Rich & Lucy said I do, guests boarded trolleys and were off to York Golf & Tennis Club for a river front wedding reception. Two weekends in a row for me at this gorgeous venue!
Just a little back story on Lucy & Richard. They me at Colby College and both were collegiate athletes for 2 sports. Lucy played lacrosse & field hockey and Richard played baseball & football. You can imagine these two are extremely coordinated and had some great dance moves:) What a fun day and I was so honored to capture every minute for Lucy & Rich.
