A Love Story Set Against the Maine Coastline
The day began at the breathtaking Nonantum Resort, where Jill and Wes’s love story would be etched into the memories of all who attended. This picture-perfect day along the shores of Kennebunkport, Maine, was simply beautiful from start to finish.
The day began with anticipation and excitement, as Jill and Wes decided to share their first look on the docks of Nonantum Resort, overlooking the beautiful Kennebunk River. Wes was beaming with delight when he set his eyes on Jill. She was an epitome of elegance in her classic gown with delicate off-the-shoulder sleeves. Their excitement was palpable, and their smiles infectious.
Jill and Wes made their way to the Seaside Chapel at St. Ann’s Episcopal Church in Kennebunkport, Maine. This historic outdoor venue, once a fort protecting the harbor, provided the perfect backdrop with the Gulf of Maine’s natural beauty. Waves crashed against the rocks and boats glided across the blue waters, adding a touch of quintessential Maine charm to their ceremony.
After Jill & Wes exchanged vows and made their way down the aisle, they were greeted by their adorable Cavapoo, Luna, who stole the show. After she had a chance to run and say hello to all the guests, she kissed Mom & Dad and then posed for some of the cutest photos.
The celebration continued back at Nonantum, where guests enjoyed a picturesque cocktail hour on the lawn, overlooking the marina. The delicious hors d’oeuvres and the stunning view created the perfect ambiance that set the tone for the evening.
As the night fell, friends and family gathered beneath a beautifully decorated tent, a testament to the meticulous planning by Jill and her mother Nancy. Hand-painted oyster shells served as place cards with custom calligraphy, and cream-colored florals with lush greenery and blue delphinium graced the tables. The soft candlelight and beaded chandeliers, combined with string lights, created a romantic atmosphere as guests enjoyed dinner and music.
The night was punctuated by heartfelt speeches from Jill’s father and her Maids of Honor, as well as Wes’s two best men. Laughter and heartfelt sentiments filled the air, leaving no doubt that Jill & Wes are deeply cherished by all who know them.
Jill and Wes are two souls who radiate kindness, and their story was a testament to the love and excitement that surrounded them on their beautiful wedding day. It was an honor to be part of this unforgettable day that perfectly captured their love and the beauty of Maine’s coastline.
