When it comes to picture-perfect weddings, Anne and David’s special day at Scotland Fields in York, Maine, truly set the bar high. With blue skies and ideal temperatures, it was a day that will be remembered by all who celebrated their love. From the fall-themed color palette to the heartwarming moments, this wedding was nothing short of magical.
One of the first things that caught everyone’s attention was the stunning color scheme chosen by the couple. The combination of burnt orange, blush, ivory, and cranberry was not only quintessentially autumnal but also incredibly romantic. This color palette was thoughtfully incorporated into every aspect of the day, from the bridal details, to reception decor, creating a stunning atmosphere that looked strait out of a magazine.
Before the ceremony, Anne and David shared a beautiful first look on the porch of a charming bungalow. The love and anticipation in their eyes spoke volumes, and it was a beautiful moment that set the tone for the rest of the day.
Anne & David chose to exchange vows in a field nestled on the stunning 26-acre property along the York River. The backdrop was nothing short of breathtaking, with panoramic views of tidal marshlands, woods, and preserves. Dinner was held in a two-story barn that had been beautifully transformed for the occasion. Long farm tables adorned with stunning florals created an intimate and inviting setting. What made this evening even more special were the heartfelt speeches delivered by both sets of parents, who lovingly described Anne and David’s journey together.
One of my favorite moments of the evening, was the surprise dance routine choreographed by Anne’s adorable niece to Dua Lipa’s “Dance The Night”. She radiated pure joy and impressed all guest with her moves. The photos say it all.
